No, the Red Cross of Ukraine is a humanitarian organization, not a medical one. The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has rapid response teams that provide first aid to victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters, teaches first aid skills, in some regions provides medical services to the population through its own medical and social centers, mobile medical teams,  promotes blood donation, disseminates information on the prevention of dangerous infectious diseases (including COVID-19), distributes personal protective equipment, etc. In such areas as first aid training and its provision to victims, volunteers and employees of the Society do not actually carry out medical manipulations (injections, medications, etc.), and for effective participation in them, even basic medical education is not required.

The members of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the national societies of the Red Cross or Red Crescent.
