Representatives of the Austrian Red Cross, along with the Home-Based Care team, conducted a monitoring visit to beneficiaries in the remote communities of Zolochiv district, Lviv region

The monitoring visits enable us to assess the most urgent needs of our beneficiaries and enhance the effectiveness of Ukrainian Red Cross social assistants in delivering comprehensive humanitarian support to older people in Ukraine. 

In the Lviv region, over 60 social assistants from the Ukrainian Red Cross care for nearly 290 clients across the region. They assist lonely elderly individuals with household chores, purchase and deliver food, water, and medicines, provide emotional support, and help address their clients’ domestic, medical, and social needs.
