Children’s Event Held at the Modular Town in Chernihiv

A 112-apartment modular town, built in Chernihiv with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross, is home to about 230 people, including 53 children. To celebrate Children’s Day, a festive programme featuring games, entertainment, and gifts was organised. 

The team of the Chernihiv city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross prepared several locations where children not only received positive emotions but also gained valuable knowledge. The psychosocial support event included elements of creativity, outdoor games, mine risk education, first aid training, familiarisation with the organisation’s work (in particular, with the activities of the emergency response team), and gifts. These activities allowed the children to immerse themselves in the holiday atmosphere, distract themselves, and experience joy.
