The Ukrainian Red Cross and its partners reviewed progress and agreed on next steps for the SYLA project

Partners of the SYLA project, which aims to strengthen local emergency response mechanisms, held a working meeting to review the project’s interim results.

During the meeting, participants discussed key operational challenges, assessed risks, and jointly identified approaches to address them. Particular attention was given to evaluating the current partnership model, the roles of the participating organisations, and opportunities and formats for future cooperation.

The SYLA project is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Danish Red Cross, the German Red Cross, ACTED, and IMPACT, with financial support from the European Union.
