The Ukrainian Red Cross is now accepting applications for microgrant support under the Reboot programme via the Online Service platform
З From 15 May 2026, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with the Spanish Red Cross, will begin accepting applications for the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” microgrant programme through its Online Service platform.
For three years, the programme has been supporting people affected by the war, helping them restore their sources of income, develop their own businesses, and return to economic activity.
Within the programme, participants may receive a microgrant of up to UAH 120,000 to implement or further develop a business idea.
Funding is provided in two instalments:
- the first instalment covers 50% of the microgrant amount;
- the second instalment is provided upon confirmation of the implementation of the first part of the business plan.
Applications can be submitted from 15 to 22 May 2026 inclusive.
However, the application period may close early once the limit of 100 registered participants is reached, as the number of grants is limited.
Support is available for activities in the following sectors:
- agriculture;
- manufacturing;
- services;
- retail and wholesale trade.
Eligible applicants are working-age household members aged 18 to 65 who belong to one or more vulnerable categories, including:
- internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- households affected by the war;
- war veterans and their family members;
- families caring for older people or persons with disabilities;
- households with two or more children;
- single parents or guardians of minor children;
- other categories in accordance with programme criteria.
The programme covers Kyiv region (excluding Kyiv city), Zakarpattia, Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro regions, as well as government-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.
Participants will be selected on a competitive basis. Support will be provided to the most viable and well-developed business ideas.
