Mine Risk Awareness Campaign Held in Chernihiv
In the realities of our time, we need to understand that being aware of explosive hazards can save our lives and health. Mine risk education is a very important component of the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Through informational sessions led by Ukrainian Red Cross instructors, people of all ages gain insight into the real danger posed by various types of mines, as well as how explosive remnants of war can be disguised.
For example, in Chernihiv, volunteer instructors conduct regular information sessions in educational institutions to inform the youngest citizens about the dangers of different types of mines, how to detect them and how to act safely to prevent accidents. Additionally, informational sessions are held for adults in public venues, ensuring widespread awareness and preparedness.
