IN CHERKASY REGION, THE URCS TOGETHER WITH THE CANADIAN RED CROSS WILL REPLACE THE HEATING NETWORK IN THE AREA CHILDREN’S NETWORK

During the visit of the Canadian Red Cross to Ukraine, colleagues visited the Cherkasy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. During the meeting, a number of humanitarian issues were resolved, one of which was to provide warmth to newborns and children who are being treated in the regional children’s hospital before the onset of cold weather. For this, with the financial support of the Canadian Red Cross, the heating network in the Cherkasy Regional Children’s Hospital will be replaced.

Additionally, during the visit, colleagues handed over two cars for the implementation of the project “Mobile Medical Brigades of the Ukrainian Red Cross”. In total, three such cars have already been handed over. This assistance will provide residents of remote areas of Cherkasy region with high-quality medical care. All this assistance is implemented within the framework of the “National Mobile Medical Center” program.

We continue to unite the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the world to help Ukrainians.
The Emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross helps such people to evacuate. Sometimes they transport people under fire, risking their own lives. But in any conditions, we are devoted to our work and the main goal – to help people.
