The Ukrainian Red Cross Tracing Service provides support to families of missing persons in the Dnipro region

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the number of people who have lost contact with their relatives has increased. Since February 2022, 5,515 appeals for missing persons have been received and processed in the Dnipro region, leading to 1,152 search cases being initiated with the relevant services. In 2023-2024, 446 families from the most vulnerable population groups received humanitarian assistance.

This year, a volunteer from the Restoring Family Links programme in Kryvyi Rih organised social events for the families of missing persons, including a theatre visit, a psychosocial support session on “Distress. Self-help,” and an event at a pottery studio.

Amid ongoing shelling and psychological pressure, residents of the Dnipro region require constant support.
