EVACUATION OF RESIDENTS IN THE KHARKIV REGION

Nine residents of the Kupyansk district in the Kharkiv region were evacuated by volunteers of the Red Cross of Ukraine in one day. Shelling in the area has increased over the past two weeks, so more people are requesting evacuation to safer places. The Emergency Response Team of the Kharkiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society goes out to different areas of the region to evacuate those who cannot leave on their own for various reasons. There are many elderly people among the evacuees. Volunteers evacuate people to Kharkiv and accommodate them in dormitories, providing the essentials for the first time. Details in the story
