Humanitarian aid distributed in Kurakhove
The Ukrainian Red Cross in the city of Kurakhove has helped residents of frontline villages in the Kurakhove community. These people are constantly exposed to shelling and have problems with electricity. Aid was provided to residents of the following villages: Novoselydivka, Izmailivka, Illinka, Voznesenka, Stepanivka, and Kreminna Balka.
Vulnerable individuals – such as those aged 65 and over who live alone and people classified under disability groups 1 and 2 – received food parcels and hygiene products. They were also provided with portable autonomous lighting systems that will be particularly useful during power outages.
