Video: The Inclusive Shelter in Kyiv

Considering the urgent need for quality and inclusive shelters, the Ukrainian Red Cross has joined the initiative to establish them.  

The first of these shelters was recently opened in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. It is equipped according to all safety standards and has an elevator for unimpeded access for wheelchair users. 

This shelter is an example of effective cooperation between the community, members of parliament, and NGOs. More initiatives like this should be implemented to ensure the comfort and safety of Ukrainians.
