The Ukrainian Red Cross team supported the safe transportation of people with limited mobility from a transit point for evacuees to a hospital

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Dnipro region transported eight people with limited mobility from a transit point in Lozova, Kharkiv region, to a hospital in Kryvyi Rih.

The Ukrainian Red Cross team ensured their safe transportation and accompanied them throughout the journey from the transit point to the medical facility.

Those evacuated included older people and people with disabilities who had previously been evacuated from frontline areas and areas affected by active hostilities. Due to the security situation, they were forced to leave their homes and required safe and accessible transportation to a location where they could receive the assistance they needed.

Accessible transportation is an essential component of evacuation support for people with limited mobility. Upon arrival at the hospital, they will be able to access the necessary medical care and receive appropriate support tailored to their individual needs.
