Local branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross organised environmental clean-ups and campaigns

This weekend, environmental campaigns occurred in many cities and small towns across Ukraine. Volunteers and staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross joined forces to remind us that daily environmental changes affect everyone. Through small actions every day, each of us contributes significantly to preserving and caring for the environment. 

Cities such as Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Lyman, Druzhkivka, Dobropillia, Myrnohrad, Sloviansk, Kurakhove, and Lozova were among those where teams cleaned, watered, planted, collected garbage, sorted waste, and maintained surroundings. These events have become a form of social team building for volunteers and staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Life continues despite the country’s challenging situation, and we are responsible for making our home look how we want it to.
