A humanitarian aid hub is operating in Kharkiv to provide assistance to citizens who have been evacuated from dangerous areas of the region

The hub provides humanitarian and psychological support from the Ukrainian Red Cross, along with legal and other consultations from international and volunteer organisations working together to help those who have been forced to leave their homes. Additionally, evacuees are offered accommodation in temporary centres set up in dormitories of educational institutions.

Today, the hub was visited by Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Denise Brown, the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine.
