The Arrival of Another Evacuation Train in Dnipro
Every evacuation train carries individuals who are leaving behind everything – their homes, jobs, belongings, and hometowns – in search of safety and refuge in more secure locations. They require the most basic necessities to start over, and they also need support, as relocation and losses are emotionally very difficult.
Regardless of the weather conditions and the trains’ arrival times, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers in different cities of the country always meet evacuees to offer essential assistance: get off the train, carry their belongings, provide psychological support, distribute humanitarian aid, offer warm tea and snacks, and arrange transportation for people with limited mobility to temporary accommodation.
We stand by those in need.
