The Role and Activities of Social Assistants in the Cherkasy Region

In the Cherkasy region, over 40 Ukrainian Red Cross social assistants provide care for nearly 250 people in need across more than 35 settlements. They offer household assistance, purchase groceries and medicines, provide emotional support, and address social needs.

New bicycles have been purchased for social assistants to provide better and more efficient assistance. These bicycles will help social assistants deliver the necessary aid to their clients and respond quickly to their needs.

The Canadian Red Cross supports the activities of the Home-Based Care program in the Cherkasy region.
