Kyiv: Ukrainian Red Cross responds at the site of the overnight strike
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team from the National Committee worked alongside the emergency services at the site of another overnight strike in the capital. Volunteers searched the area around the damaged residential building to identify people who had been injured. They also provided psychological first aid to affected people and their families.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 28 people were injured as a result of the Russian strike. Nine people were killed. The attack caused fires and extensive damage across five districts of the capital. All relevant emergency services continue to work at the affected sites.
