Meeting the Evacuation Train from the Kherson Region
Today, another evacuation train from the Kherson region arrived at the platform of Khmelnytsky railway station. A total of 25 people, including the elderly, women, and children, arrived in the region seeking temporary accommodation. Carrying only the most essential belongings, they left their homes to seek safety in areas free from shelling and danger.
The newcomers were met by first responders and psychologists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and volunteers from the Khmelnytsky regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Together, they helped the Kherson residents get off the train and carry their belongings. Besides, they provided psychological support and offered warm drinks.
We stand by those in need.
