The Ukrainian Red Cross handed over the author’s books to vulnerable children
Children’s Ukrainian writer Halyna Budilova handed over some copies of her book to the Ukrainian Red Cross pro bono. The book will help children overcome the stress that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“For me, as a writer and mother, it is very important to help parents and children find a common language. My books support, bring together, teach and inspire faith that everything will be fine, “says Halyna.
“Robbie and the Villain in the Crown: In Search of Mr Positive” (orig. ) is a therapeutic book designed to support parents who have lost a lot of resources during quarantine, and to help children understand what is happening now.
Volunteers of the Kyiv city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society handed over the author’s books to children from vulnerable groups for the New Year holidays. Copies of “Robbie and the Villain in the Crown: In Search of Mr Positive” were also handed over to the children who are currently in the Kyiv City Center for Gender Equality, Prevention and Combating Violence.
“The mental health of the nation and the well-being of the planet – this is my goal and values, which, fortunately, coincide with the values of the Ukrainian Red Cross. I am happy to be useful, and I am proud of our cooperation, “said Halyna Budilova.
We thank Halyna Budilova for her support, and we are sincerely happy about our cooperation.
