Over 315,000 Ukrainians have received first aid training from the Ukrainian Red Cross!

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, first aid skills have become more important than ever. Thanks to 6- and 12-hour training sessions conducted by professional instructors from the Ukrainian Red Cross, hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens have learned how to respond in emergency situations.

Training covers the entire country, including frontline cities. In these cities, training is conducted in shelters to ensure the safety of participants.

Special attention is given to first responders from the State Emergency Service and critical infrastructure workers, who are often the first to face dangerous situations and must be prepared to help not only others but also themselves.

“We understand how crucial this knowledge is for those living under constant shelling. That’s why we strive to teach as many people as possible, as it can save lives,” says Nadiia Yamnenko, Head of the First Aid Unit at the Ukrainian Red Cross.
