The Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers are helping in Khmelnytskyi after a series of explosions.
February 18, 2023, was supposed to be an ordinary Saturday for most citizens. But not for the volunteers of the Khmelnytskyi regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who were receiving another train with evacuees from Kherson in the early morning. After a series of explosions at around 9 a.m., Emergency Response Team of the Ukrainian Red Cross immediately left for the site of the rocket attack. Volunteers set up an aid station near the house that was most affected. Psychosocial support was provided to children, first aid to the victims with shrapnel injuries, snacks, and hot tea to those who needed it. We are always there to help those who need it most.
