In August, almost 700 people attended psychosocial support events in the Sumy region
A team of specialists from the Sumy Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross regularly organises events for internally displaced persons and local residents, including children. Over the past month, psychologists and volunteers from the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support unit conducted more than 100 group sessions and 24 individual consultations.
Understanding stress management techniques and tools to enhance stress resilience is crucial for Ukrainians today. During these sessions, participants discover their personal resources and learn to navigate current challenges through engaging techniques, exercises, and methods of self-soothing and self-help.
