A Social Enterprise Giving Plastic a Second Life: REDpreneurUA Success Story

Olha Yeshchenko is a winner of the 4th cohort of the REDpreneurUA programme. After completing her military service, the veteran founded a social enterprise that gives plastic a second life. Today, the business produces 3D filament for 3D printing, while one of its production lines is focused on materials used to create prosthetic components.

The journey from idea to launching her own production became possible thanks to participation in the REDpreneurUA programme. Out of nearly 2,000 applications, the project was selected as one of the top 25. Grant support helped purchase the necessary equipment and launch production, while the training provided valuable knowledge, professional connections, and expert support for business development.

The REDpreneurUA programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with support from the NACHBAR IN NOT Foundation (Austria) and the Spanish Red Cross.
