In Lviv, the Ukrainian Red Cross hosted a workshop titled “Strategic Compass: Categories and Standards,” bringing together leaders of regional branches and coordinators of mobile rehabilitation units from across the country

Over two days, participants reviewed the results of 2025 and worked on defining a clear direction for the Physical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation programme. Through interactive sessions — including practical exercises, role-playing, and professional discussions — they not only analysed key challenges but also developed concrete solutions for the work ahead.

The outcome of this collaborative effort included new tools for engaging with medical facilities, measures to enhance the mobility of specialists, and a shared vision for making patients’ rehabilitation journeys simpler and more accessible.

This intensive workshop reaffirmed that strength lies in collaboration, openness, and a shared goal. Participants are returning to their regions with clear action steps, fresh ideas, and renewed readiness to improve the quality of rehabilitation services for those who need them most.
