The Ukrainian Red Cross and UMIND NGO hold a series of educational webinars for women

In December, as part of the Supporting Women’s Economic Empowerment in Ukraine programme, the Ukrainian Red Cross and UMIND NGO conducted online training sessions to help women adapt to change, advance their careers, and develop their own businesses. Over 1,000 women applied to participate in the December webinars.

During the final month of the year, participants attended three intensive webinars, gaining practical tools for personal and professional resilience.

The series opened with the webinar “Emotional Literacy: How to Recognise and Process Emotions”, led by crisis psychologist Anastasiia Horbachova. The session focused on self-awareness, explaining why attempts to ignore or suppress emotions at work can lead to burnout and reduced effectiveness.

The next session focused on professional self-realisation and reputation. The training “Personal Brand Architecture: Values, Positioning, Uniqueness” was delivered by strategic communications expert Olena Levandovska. She encouraged participants to view their personal brand through the metaphor of building a house, starting with a solid foundation.

The December series concluded with the training “Strategic Personal Development: How to Achieve Your Goals”, led by business coach Yuliia Tsaruk. The session focused on turning ambitions and intentions into a clear, realistic action plan. Participants were introduced to the “Franklin Pyramid” personal development tool, which proposes planning life from the ground up: first identifying core values and overarching goals, then layering long-term plans and daily tasks on top. This approach is often called “content-driven planning.”
