Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross Meets with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia

During a working visit to Estonia, Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, met with Volodymyr Boiechko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia.

During the meeting, representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross spoke about the organisation’s work in response to the full-scale war in Ukraine. In turn, representatives of the Estonian Red Cross shared information about their support programmes for Ukrainians who were forced to flee their homes and are now residing in Estonia. The parties also discussed potential areas for further cooperation.

Ambassador Volodymyr Boiechko expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Estonian Red Cross to Ukrainian citizens and proposed launching new humanitarian initiatives in cooperation with the Embassy. These included rest and recovery programmes for children whose parents have been killed, gone missing, or are currently serving on the front lines.
