Over 5,400 people have received psychosocial support services in the Cherkasy region

The Ukrainian Red Cross Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programme is dedicated to supporting people experiencing stress from crisis events and struggling to manage it independently. Specialists provide psychological first aid and essential psychosocial support through various activities. These include creative classes, recreational activities, active games for children and adults, structured sessions to enhance emotional stability, and psychoeducational programmes for adults.

The Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has conducted over 630 psychosocial support activities to reduce stress and anxiety and improve emotional well-being. More than 5,400 people in the Cherkasy region, including internally displaced persons and local residents, have already received psychosocial support services.
