Over 250 people supported by the Ukrainian Red Cross social assistants in the Vinnytsia Region

As part of the Home-Based Care programme, assistance is provided to the elderly, people with disabilities, those who are lonely, and individuals in need of external support. In Vinnytsia and the Vinnytsia district, including Zhmerynka, Khmilnyk, Haisyn, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Tulchyn, and Yampil, 45 social assistants conduct visits. The assistance offered encompasses the purchase of food and medicines, cleaning, and cooking, as well as communication and emotional support. Many of our beneficiaries are internally displaced persons, so it can be very important for them to feel safe and not alone.
