First Aid Training for Police Officers Conducted in the Poltava Region

Knowing how to help a victim and provide timely assistance: in the Poltava region, the National Police of Ukraine employees are trained in first aid.

It is challenging to predict what might happen during law enforcement operations. Therefore, knowing the basics of administering first aid is crucial for acting quickly and accurately in life-threatening situations. First aid can be a vital opportunity to save a person’s life in critical moments.

Instructors from the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross recently conducted first aid training for police officers. The training covered the algorithm for providing first aid and demonstrated techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid for injuries, wounds, bleeding, and other emergencies. Participants practised their skills using training manikins and improvised equipment. Upon completion, they received certificates of international training recognised in over 190 countries.

This new knowledge will help officers navigate challenging situations, preserve their health, and even save lives!
