Mobile health units operating in the Sumy region

The Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units perform various tasks, including examining patients, measuring blood pressure, determining blood glucose and oxygenation levels, and providing first aid. They also dispense over-the-counter (OTC) medicines to stabilise health and transport individuals to medical facilities in life-threatening situations.

In the Sumy region, mobile health units operate in the Krolevets, Trostianets, Hlukhiv, Nedryhailiv, Putyvl, and Krasnopillia communities. In one week, these units visited 45 towns and villages, providing assistance to 816 people.

The Mobile Health Units programme is being implemented in the Sumy region with the support of the Swedish Red Cross.

We stand by those in need!
