The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Dnipro region participated in a training session with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The event aimed to raise awareness and prepare volunteers for working in emergency situations.
During the training, the first responders demonstrated modern equipment and vehicles used in rescue operations and emergency response. In particular, the volunteers had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with specialised vehicles, hydraulic tools, and other equipment designed for rescue operations. The smoke chamber (a training facility designed to simulate smoke-filled environments) helped the volunteers understand the importance of navigating in conditions of limited visibility and smoke.
This training is expected to enhance the effectiveness of joint emergency response efforts in the region.
