Assistance to those affected by the natural disaster in the Krasnohrad region
“The only thing that makes me happy after this event is that now my roof will look better than it did before,” said one of the victims of the natural disaster in Dobrenka village, Kharkiv region.
As a result of the storm, many trees were knocked down, private households were damaged, and the village’s power supply was cut off. However, people were not left alone.
The Kharkiv regional branch, together with the Krasnohrad district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, provided the necessary assistance to the victims. Tarpaulin, OSB boards, and other materials will help temporarily cover damaged roofs and broken windows. People were also given water, bedding sets, and other essentials.
