Instructors from the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted a mine risk education session for cadets of the Department of Pre-trial Investigation of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs
The escalation of hostilities in Ukraine has significantly increased the risk of encountering explosive devices, which can cause irreparable and fatal damage. It is, therefore, crucial to systematically raise awareness about mine risks among young people, including future law enforcement officers.
Recently, instructors from the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted a mine risk education session for cadets at the Department of Pre-trial Investigation of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. During the session, cadets were instructed on safe behaviour when detecting mines and the risks of explosive remnants of war. Additionally, they were briefed on guidelines and protocols for responding during shelling incidents.
