In the Poltava Region, the Team of the Home-Based Care Programme Has Undergone First Aid Training

The social assistants of the Ukrainian Red Cross support isolated individuals, primarily the elderly, as well as those with chronic illnesses or disabilities, who require help with their daily routines. Given the potential for health emergencies to arise suddenly and unexpectedly, it is essential for every social assistant to be trained in first aid. 

In this regard, social assistants from the Chornukhy district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross underwent training in first aid and home care. This training has enhanced their professional skills, ensuring that only qualified and responsible caregivers can assist and support their beneficiaries.
