The REDpreneur.UA Project

Challenging times open up opportunities that we have not noticed before. That is why the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Austrian Red Cross have launched a two-year project, REDpreneur.UA, which teaches people how to create successful social businesses. 

A presentation of social business projects prepared by 14 teams from different regions of Ukraine was recently held in Lviv. Among these projects are “Social Taxi / Inclusive Taxi,” “Social Bakery,” “Salt Room,” “‘Supporting Hand’ Rehabilitation Equipment Rental Centre,” and others. 

The goal of the REDpreneur.UA project is to increase the socio-economic resilience of people affected by the war in Ukraine. Therefore, we study, improve our business skills, and move towards implementing social business projects together.
