A delegation of representatives from the Ukrainian Red Cross, led by Director General Maksym Dotsenko, attended the event ‘Through Ukrainian Eyes,’ organized by the Swedish Red Cross in support of the Ukrainian people.
The event took place at the Fotografiska International Centre of Contemporary Photography Art in Stockholm and gathered over a hundred representatives from civil society, business, academia, and political structures in Sweden who are engaged in the Ukrainian issue.
The event was attended by Johan Forssell, Minister for International Development and Foreign Trade of Sweden, who, in his speech, assured of further multilevel support for Ukraine. Maksym Dotsenko emphasized the importance of the localization approach in humanitarian activities, the role of local organizations, and the evolving nature of the population’s needs.
Among the guests were the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, representatives from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the Folke Bernadotte Academy, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the national media Sveriges Television, and representatives from Volvo and Electrolux companies.
