IN UZHGOROD, THE UKRAINIAN RED CROSS OF CONGRATULATES THE FIRST INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS HAPPY SEPTEMBER

About a hundred children whose families were forced to leave their homes due to the war and currently live in Uzhhorod are going to school for the first time this year.

The Uzhgorod city organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society supported children from vulnerable sectors of the population with school supplies: from the least well-off families, families with many children, those who are raising a child with a disability, as well as those who lost one of their parents due to the war.

Each first-grader was presented with new briefcases, stationery and a set of clothes necessary for school activities. A sweet table, games and other entertainment were also organized for the children on the holiday.
