Psychobalance Supports Veterans in Coping with the Impact of Trauma

Psychological support can be modern, accessible and effective. This is precisely what the business initiative Psychobalance by Maksym Marunkevych — a participant and winner of the 4th cohort of the REDpreneurUA programme — demonstrates.

Psychobalance supports veterans and civilians in coping with the consequences of traumatic experiences through evidence-based methods and virtual reality (VR) technologies.

In a specially designed simulated environment, individuals gradually learn to engage with triggers that previously caused intense fear or felt overwhelming. This represents another step towards recovery and a return to a full and meaningful life.

Through participation in the REDpreneurUA programme, the Psychobalance team received not only grant support for the development of the project, but also training in financial literacy, business model development, and strategic planning.

The REDpreneurUA programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with support from the NACHBAR IN NOT foundation (Austria) and the Spanish Red Cross.
