The Ukrainian Red Cross, in cooperation with the High School of Public Governance, contributed to the delivery of the third module of the Strategic Leadership School, dedicated to people-centred human resource management in the civil service
The module focused on approaches that place people at the centre, prioritising their needs, dignity, and equal access to opportunities. Participants in the programme — senior civil servants (Category “A”) — explored how to integrate people-centred principles, inclusion, and accessibility into their day-to-day work, from policy development to team management.
During the training, participants covered:
- developing competencies in accessibility and inclusion;
- European standards on human rights, accessibility, and universal design;
- integrating these principles into HR policies and operational processes;
- practical case studies on identifying physical, informational, and organisational barriers.
The module also featured Kateryna Kryklia, Head of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support at the Ukrainian Red Cross, who shared practical insights on fostering a supportive, people-centred environment.
Cooperation with public institutions in advancing modern management approaches is an important component of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s work, as it contributes to the development of services and solutions that place people at the centre and respond to their needs.
