Assistance in Mykolaiv at the site of a UAV attack
A nighttime UAV attack on Mykolaiv resulted in fires across the city. First responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine extinguished a fire on the roof of a five-storey residential building, as well as a large reed fire. The roof of the building was partially destroyed, windows were shattered, and nearby private houses were damaged. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, there were no casualties.
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Mykolaiv region worked together with the first responders at the site of the strike. Volunteers worked at both locations, providing psychological first aid to those affected. They also served tea and coffee to residents of the damaged buildings and emergency workers and distributed relief kits to those impacted by the attack.
