Support for Kherson Residents with Food Parcels

We continue our monthly distribution of food parcels in cooperation with the World Food Programme to support the elderly and people with disabilities in Kherson.

A local resident, Nataliia, notes that this assistance is often crucial. In addition to the ongoing shelling of the city by Russian troops, there is also the challenge of finding employment, which in turn affects the financial ability to purchase essential food.

Since the beginning of 2024, the joint programme of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the World Food Programme has been implemented in Kherson. The support is aimed at elderly residents over the age of 60, as well as those with disabilities. Recipients receive food parcels containing essential items such as cereals, canned food, pasta, sugar, oil, and more. Each parcel weighs 13 kg.

We stand by those in need!
