The Ukrainian Red Cross has opened an office in Poltava

The Poltava regional branch now has a modern space that combines both an office and a training centre. The team will use this space to work and conduct training sessions in first aid, mine risk awareness, and other programmes to support local communities.

“It’s not just an office; it’s a place for development and assistance. We have created a space that will serve as a hub for valuable initiatives for our fellow citizens,” said Iryna Pliusnina, Head of the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

We are grateful to the Czech Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross for their support in repairing and equipping the office. Thanks to this fruitful cooperation, we have been able to provide the team with comfortable conditions for both work and learning.
