Video: A new modular town for IDPs has opened in the Zhytomyr region
The modular town in the Zhytomyr region is now home to new residents. Fifty-six houses, each covering an area of 45 square metres, have been provided to IDP families from regions of Ukraine affected by the war. The houses are fully furnished and equipped with essential amenities: furniture, appliances, showers, and generators for autonomous power supply. Additionally, the town is fitted with a shelter.
This is the third completed project out of six planned by the Ukrainian Red Cross. The modular town was built in close cooperation with the local authorities and the Italian Red Cross to support people who have been forced to rebuild their lives.
