In Zaporizhzhia, a joint training exercise was held between Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers and first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine

Recently, the Zaporizhzhia regional emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with first responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, took part in joint emergency response drills. The primary goal of the training was to enhance the readiness of emergency services to respond, improve coordination between them, and share experiences. Effective communication, which is crucial in crisis situations, was also a key focus.

The participants practised joint actions in response to the consequences of a simulated missile attack. This included prompt identification of victims while considering the security situation for both first responders and those affected. Providing the correct assistance to victims is crucial, as human lives depend on the correct actions of first responders.

The training marked an important step towards improving the effectiveness of volunteers and first responders in the face of modern challenges, where swift response times are critical in emergencies.
