The Ukrainian Red Cross held an information session at the Kropyvnytskyi Entrepreneurship Support Centre
The Kirovohrad regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross presented the project “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities,” which is being implemented in the region with the support of the Spanish Red Cross and the Swiss Red Cross. This project aims to assist individuals in finding employment. Participants have the opportunity to retrain and acquire new professions, with support available for internships or training in the following specialities: driver, tractor driver, accountant, and hairdresser.
Regional coordinator Roman Pokhylko stated that thanks to the support of the Spanish Red Cross, participants will receive quality assistance in finding employment and improving their digital literacy. Nataliia Nevidoma, Deputy Director of the Kirovohrad Regional Employment Centre, emphasised the opportunities offered by the eRobota state programme and training vouchers. The programme is designed to support individuals looking to start their own businesses, and the training vouchers will enable residents to enhance their skills or acquire new professions for better employment prospects.
So far, 28 project participants have received microgrants for livelihoods development in the Kirovohrad region. The cooperation of the Ukrainian Red Cross and international partners with the Entrepreneurship Support Centre and the Kirovohrad Regional Employment Centre is very important. It supports entrepreneurship, enhances the region’s financial capacity, influences the development of services and production, creates new jobs, and facilitates the training of specialists.
