The Ukrainian Red Cross expands cooperation with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, in particular in providing psychosocial support to emergency workers
A working meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Lviv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Lviv region. The head of the Lviv regional branch, along with the interregional specialist and the regional coordinator of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Unit, discussed further steps for collaboration with the SES representatives. This includes the provision of psychological support to first responders involved in managing the aftermath of emergencies, as well as to affected citizens.
Special emphasis was placed on the potential for joint training sessions aimed at equipping emergency workers with essential psychological first aid skills.
