The Ukrainian Red Cross and the Danish Red Cross conducted a joint monitoring visit to the Kharkiv region
The primary goal of the visit was to assess the situation on the ground and identify key priority follow-up activities to support ongoing projects.
During the visit, Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 88 received a set of informational and visual displays titled ‘Mines and Explosive Ordnance.’ These materials will be used in mine risk education activities to raise awareness among children and young people about the dangers of explosive devices.
An agreement was also reached to plan additional joint activities with the gymnasium, including training sessions and workshops on mine risk education in Kharkiv. This will enable broader community engagement in awareness-raising efforts, which is particularly crucial given the current challenges.
