Mine risk educators conducted information sessions for remote communities in the Chernihiv region

Mine risk instructors from the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross held information sessions for residents of remote villages in the Sosnytsia community. The specialists visited these remote regions accompanied by a mobile health unit that provides primary healthcare to areas with limited medical services.

During the sessions, models of mines and explosive ordnance were demonstrated, and the following key aspects were covered:

  • General information on mine risks.
  • How to recognise mines and explosive devices.
  • Safety rules to follow if encountering a dangerous object.

This information is crucial for Ukraine’s population, as understanding mine risks can significantly reduce dangers and help prevent injuries or other hazardous situations.
