Another Safety Classroom Opened in the Pokrovske Village Council, Dnipropetrovsk Region
The Pokrovske Lyceum will now host another safety classroom. In this class, children will learn vital skills and gain knowledge that will help them behave safely in various crisis situations and emergencies.
The first safety lesson was conducted by emergency workers, staff of the National Police of Ukraine, representatives of the Education Department, and teaching staff of the lyceum, and covered the following topics:
- fire safety rules;
- algorithms of actions in case of detecting explosive devices;
- actions during shelling;
- traffic rules.
Instructors from the Nikopol city-district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross also attended the opening of the safety space. They conducted a first aid masterclass, introducing the children to the first aid algorithm and teaching them how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
