Ukrainian Red Cross takes part in Baltic Forum Plus in Latvia
Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross took part in the Baltic Forum Plus, held in Riga on 7–8 October and focused on emergency preparedness and strengthening cooperation in a changing geopolitical environment.
The forum brought together representatives of Red Cross National Societies, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross to share experience and discuss common approaches to current humanitarian challenges.
President of the Ukrainian Red Cross Maksym Dotsenko took part in panel discussions on regional cooperation in crisis preparedness and strengthening community resilience, and the transition from training to real-world response.
For the Ukrainian Red Cross, participation in such meetings provides an opportunity to share practical experience of responding during wartime and learn from partners. This exchange helps strengthen emergency preparedness and our capacity to provide effective assistance to people in need, even in the most challenging circumstances.
